However, some applications will quietly re-create the original directory path back for you. Most applications will catch this condition and prompt you to save the file to somewhere else. Oops! The directory it had opened the file from is now gone. You go back to the application to save the file. The Vault folder in your OneDrive folder gets unmounted and disappears as usual. Either you manually closed it, or you stepped away for too long and it auto-closed. You open a file in your Vault with an Application and start editing it.Īlong the way, the Vault gets closed. You double click Vault.lnk, the sign-in flow happens and now c:\Users\reAchilles\OneDrive\Vault exists as a valid folder with your Vault files sync'd down.
